Designing for the users since 2007

A professional journey spanning accross countries and industries

  • From the 'what' to the 'why'

Earlier in my career, I worked hands‑on a variety of projects in many industries and domains. These projects shaped my craft, and still inform how I lead, facilitate, and make decisions today.

My focus is now design strategy and experience visions, facilitating impacting decisions, and helpings teams managing their UX debt in corporate organisations.

    In Italy

    • I started working for the Rome-based Web agency Ixenia (now known as Texeo) for almost 4 years, gaining experience in e-commerce websites, web portals, young online businesses and web marketing strategies.
    • I then moved to the larger Italian company Eustema, improving my knowledge in Communication for Public Administration and services, multi-device approaches, Web standard (accessibility).
    • In the meantime I taught usability theories and Web marketing guidelines at the Rome Tor Vergata University in a professional masters course.

    In United Kingdom

    • In the summer of 2013 I moved to London. I worked for 18 months in the digital Company Open Reply in London, where I challenged myself in responsive design and adaptive design, design for tablet and mobile Apps, international retail and e-commerce.
    • In May 2015 I joined the creative digital agency Hiveworks (former Orange Digital) with focus on Service design and UCD approaches, contracting for one year.
    • I joined the financial industry and contracted for Lloyds banking group for less than a year, challenging myself in designing interactions that will be used potentially by millions of customers every day.
    • I'm currently working for the scientific publishing sector and I'm a UX Lead at Springer Nature, focusing on improving the experience for one of the most famous scientific magazine online and peer review system.
